After you read this you will never throw away onion skin again!

Hey loves, thank you for spending time with me today! In the midst of our isolation staying healthy is our main goal. What if i told you there has been a powerhouse for healing in your home that you throw away every time you cook. That power house is the onion peel.

We all have these burning questions. HOW TO GROW LONG HAIR OVERNIGHT?! HOW TO GROW LONG HAIR FAST? I have something for you!

The onion peel has been used for thousands of years in countless traditional medicines. This super food is not only extremely beneficial to the skin, it also holds very useful compounds for inner health. Let's name a few.

Onion peel can be used to treat a wide range of rashes, bruises and wounds. This outer layer of skin contains very high amounts of anti-oxidants. These anti- oxidants promote amazing overall health by protecting the body from disease. This will boost the bodies natural ability to heal itself.

What is a free radical?

In chemistry, a radical is an atom, molecule, or ion that has an unpaired valence electron. With some exceptions, these unpaired electrons make radicals highly chemically reactive. Many radicals spontaneously dimerize. Most organic radicals have short lifetimes. The damage to cells caused by free radicals, especially the damage to DNA, may play a role in the development of cancer and other health conditions.

Onion peels kill free radicals in the body which in return protects the body from cancer.

Quercetin is a pigment found in the skin. It is extremelely good for you! It fights free radicals in the blood and is highly anti-inflammatory. Now this is so amazing because it reduces oxidative stress on the body.

What is Oxidative Stress?

- Oxidative stress is an imbalance between free radicals and antioxidants in your body. Free radicals are oxygen-containing molecules with an uneven number of electrons. The uneven number allows them to easily react with other molecules. ... These reactions are called oxidation. They can be beneficial or harmful.

They can also fight conditions such as circulation problems, prostate infections, atherosclerosis, heart disease, stomach ulcers and gout.

Onion skin will help those suffering from indigestion. Most likely your body is too acidic if you have this issue. Onion peel tea will help alkalize your digestive system and cleanse the colon.

Helps diabetics that suffer from insulin resistance.

Reduces fever,asthma and hives.

Cataracts and other eye problems. Quercetin can help to reduce inflammation and make the optics work more efficiently.

What is Quercetin?

Quercetin is a plant flavonol from the flavonoid group of polyphenols. It is found in many fruits, vegetables, leaves, seeds, and grains; red onions and kale are common foods containing appreciable content of quercetin. All it's antioxidant properties help reduce inflammation, allergy symptoms, and blood pressure.

Hi Cyn, a recent video led me to this blog and the youtube video lol. How long should the onion peel juice remain on the scalp before rinsing? How frequently should/can this be done? Thanks!
